mopar crazy Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I thought this couple had a good M. Always seemed to be so happy together. Well, the other night I went to a Bday party and he walks in, w/o his W. I asked a mutual friend where his W was and she said that she left him for the OM! I was shocked! They were suppose to go on a trip out of the country. Even got the passports, tickets, everything and a week or so b4 they were to leave she left him! That was a couple months ago. She is now living w/ the OM. It so sad. It's bad enough for a M to end but to have one of the spouses involved w/ another even makes it worse. Mutual friends have said it's been a nasty D so far.
FireandIce Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I always find that the "good marriages" are the ones that shock me the most. I had some neighbors across the street that split up a few years back and we were all shocked. They seemed to have the perfect marriage-- never saw them fight, always going out as a family, three wonderful kids, etc. The whole street (we live in a cul-de-sac so it's a pretty close group) were totally shocked. We were even more shocked when we found out she was sleeping with the single neighbor across the street. LOL You just never know what goes on behind closed doors.

Yep, this W also had an A w/ her neighbor but she moved in w/ a different OM from out of town. Seems today that more M are ending b/c of A's than anything else. Both of my sisters have been D but not from A.
Trialbyfire Posted April 18, 2007 Posted April 18, 2007 Mutual friends have said it's been a nasty D so far. It's called backlash from one of the most selfish acts anyone can commit, in a relationship. For some, an unforgiveable violation of trust and respect.

I don't know though. There are so many affairs going on right now that I know about and it just disgusts me. For example there is this guy that my husband works with. He has a beautiful wife (she's gorgeous!) and a wonderful little daughter. They have it all-- money, nice house, all the "toys", a great sex life (according to him), everything that most people want. Well I found out last week that he's having an affair. I really just don't understand it and I probably never will. It truly disgusts me.
