Infamous Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Im pretty sure that this kind of thing gets posted here all the time but my problem is that I really like this girl and I just recently asked her to prom "I have no idea how i did it" and she has said yes. Im a shy person and not very talkative. Very time I try to talk to her I get very nervous with butterflys in my stomach and i cant seem to think/get of conversation going. I was wondering what would be a good way to really impress her because I really like her and what would be some ideas for a conversation. Anything would be greatly appreciated Thanks
whichwayisup Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Don't try to impress her, just be yourself. Ask her questions about HER. Meaning, get to know her and what her life is/has been like growing up, does she have bro's/sis's etc...Talk about movies, music and funny experiences. Hope this helps.
alextop30 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I undrestand the feeling kinna like that myself but basically I try to go there with the midset that I am gonna rock her world and she will fall for me and that is for sure. In front of girls I act like I am with my guy friends - she is a person right so act the normal way it is not that hard I sometimes swear in front of girls - one of my friends is really sencitive for that he is all goodie goodie in front of girls - the way I see it if you put a mask - she will not like you anyhow and if she does she will leave you because when she sees the real you she would be confused and wonder what is real in you. So be yourself it is like you are with your guy friends just ask her questions that interest you and you will strike the right key.

alextop30 Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I had a date to go to the prom - and she ditched me to go with some other guy the last day. The good thing is that I waited to get the tickets till the last moment and when she ditched me I was glad that I never bought them I was kinna pissed. She also never had the couradge to tell it to me in my face so I was really mad but still 200$ went into my pocket and went to movie with my guy friends instead of going to prom. I really wanted to go with this girl that I liked but she went with the football player because I wasn't as popular as he was and didnt have as big of musscules. This same football player picked on me when I was freshman and got sent to the nurse of a bloody head after confrontation with me . Life was fair - I gave him peace of my mind he stole the girl that I wanted to go to prom with "shallow girl" not worth wasting my time.
