Adick Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 My GF is very prone to peeing with the door open. Is this a woman thing. I usually close the door--even when I am alone. But she has no problem sitting there peeing right in front of me. Now it does close when she takes a dump. Is this a woman thing?
IpAncA Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 It's an individual thing. Some are more comfortable then others.
jerbear Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 She is comfortable with you. Most people do not do that. Personally I've done that before and even took her phone calls. I don't even pick up when other people call... Next time you are in the bathroom, answer her call and let it flow. If she asks what is that sound, tell her! :lmao:
Author Adick Posted April 14, 2007 Author Posted April 14, 2007 I am too much of a gentleman for that!
Green Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 yes its definatly a woman thing, just leave the seat up next time your day and when she goes to sit down she'll fall in then run over and flush the toilet and you'll be rid of her forever.
VirtualInsanity Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 Me, I'm not shy. just leave the seat up next time your day and when she goes to sit down she'll fall in then run over and flush the toilet and you'll be rid of her forever. How mean. I live w/ guys & not funny. I fell in before! I had words w/ them ALL the next day.
pricillia Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 yes its definatly a woman thing, just leave the seat up next time your day and when she goes to sit down she'll fall in then run over and flush the toilet and you'll be rid of her forever. It is not a woman thing.... My sister does this and I can not understand why but I close the door I like my privacy and am not in the habbit of sharing my bathroom time with everyone else. I pee alone!
kymberann Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Good ? actually. I have a house full of girls. Me and three daughters. They have all grown up following me into the bathroom, never had my own privacy. Now that they are older they get angry if I follow them in!! Funny huh. As for me, I am dating this guy and I don't think I can do the deed with him around and the door open just yet. Probably in the middle of the night with no lights on, but that's it for now!
Island Girl Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Individual comfort level. I can get to this point but not right away. I can only now "go" with the door open or with my husband in the bathroom - we've been together over 6 years. As for anything else other than urinating --- NO WAY.

sunshinegirl Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 My boyfriend pees with the door open. Threw me off first time he did it...I'm a private person and close the door for all toilet-related activities. My sister pees with the door open, often continuing a conversation we're having while she goes. Yuck. So I'd say it's an individual thing.
Fun2BMe Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Once I get close to a man I pee with the door open and feel offended if they don't do the same because it's a sign you're being open and not hiding anything from each other. But if I have to do #2 I ask them to go to the store to get something, I can't do it even if they're under the same roof when it comes to 2. In fact one bf got weirded out that I never seemed to do #2 and accused me of not feeling secure enough to do it with him around. I fought denying it but it was true.
pelagicsands Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Once I get close to a man I pee I understand. I get nervous around women, and the exact same thing happens to me. I wear pads, and minimise my exposure. In fact one bf got weirded out that I never seemed to do #2 and accused meYeah, I get accused of being full of sh*t all the time. So what if I prefer a low-residue diet?! I don't give a crap what they say.
Green Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I guess just as long as there not pee ing and shating on you its all good
pelagicsands Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 ooops.... Don't worry about it. We didn't really see that much, unfortunately. From what little I did see, I don't think you have anything to be ashamed of.
Pink Amulet Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 Open! I even like to keep it open in public toilets. I go down the end though, and also factor in mirror positioning. I thought it made people uncomfortble but I notice my friends doing it now also!
2sunny Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 as a mom - my kids followed me into the bathroom every time... never had a minute alone during the day... they would even sit on the floor outside the shower while i was in the shower. now that they are older - they don't do that anymore... but my dog does! if the door is closed at all - he will bump it right open and stand there in the doorway until i come out... so it really doesn't do me any good to close it. he also lays down right outside the shower like my kids did... good thing i am not at all modest.
Author Adick Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 I agree #2 is a different animal all together. Whenever we are together, I will likely hold it in till I can get home. Hotels and vacations are always an issue. I usually excuse myself from whatever we may be doing outside of the room (beach, etc.) and then just make a dash to the room to go! PA--you pee in a public restroom with the door open??

But she has no problem sitting there peeing right in front of me. Now it does close when she takes a dump. Is this a woman thing? It means that she's getting very comforable with you. I do it with my SO, when the girls are gone anyway... I definitley can't poo infront of him or fart for that matter, but yeah she's starting to get comfortable with you. How long have you two been living together?

PA--you pee in a public restroom with the door open?? Your GF is lucky! I hear about every detail about my SO's poo . Then when i sneak to the bathroom to let one go, he just knows and stands outside the door saying "Honey...... ??? are you pooping?" :lmao: Silly honey.
Author Adick Posted April 15, 2007 Author Posted April 15, 2007 We don't live together. SHe has kids as do I and we get together whenever we can, but we are not living together. Been together about two months. I don't fart in front of women either. If it is necessary, I will make an excuse to leave the room. The exception is if you are sleeping or if you are sick.
Pink Amulet Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 I am pretty claustraphobic. I slightly shut it if someone walks in usually.
nicki Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 What a fun, light topic....very different from what we usually get here on LS! Personally, I don't pee in front of my boyfriends, even long term ones. I think of it as keeping the mystery alive! I always tell my guys they will have to marry me to see that. It gives them real incentive to propose I like watching my boyfriend pee, however. He has a big, um, "something to pee with" and I want to see it every chance I get. My boyfriend also kids around with me when I'm using the bathroom. I don't let him watch me do any personal beauty stuff, except when I'm shaving my legs naked. Then I leave the door open, by accident of course.... To the poster, your girlfriend is comfortable with you. But, if you'd rather not watch her pee, then just avert your eyes and leave. She should get the message. I like your policy on "no farting." Sure wish more guys were this gentlemanly!
