Answerplease and I have decided to try something: in that all week we express our feelings about how we feel and I suggested something different.

Let's try 12 hours of NOT talking about MM, ex or other wise and give ourselves a teeny break.

I expressed this within her thread about how hard she is being on herself and how self-doubt is affecting so many of us.

I am proposing that Sunday be an netherland day where we just have some fun amongst ourselves and forget for mere twelve little hours our situations and concentrate on moving forward.

I am currently reading "The Witching Hour" by Ann Rice, my job sucks and I just met a gorgeous man with whom I wish to flirt but am terrified. I need flirting techniques dammit!

And my youngest son is flunking college and just got his 7th supposely artful tattoo? With what money?

He, obviously needs no flirting techniques as they are clearly imprinted on his idiotic body....

Hope to see you Sunday! Have a great weekend!

Good idea Puddle.

OK, in my timezone it is Sunday morning. I had just a very nice breakfast and am now listening to a bit of music, which always makes me happy.

Am also in the process of cleaning out my closet and getting used to the new hair-cut I got yesterday. Jury's still out on that one :)

Am struggling with allergies after the freakish weather decided it was all of a sudden summer in Europe. It is crazy hot today, but I think I may just overdose on anti-histamines and still go out and find a tanning spot :)

Good Morning Puddle and Big Blueeyes! I am up bright and early this morning! I just finished a nice workout on my treadmill and I am sipping a cup of coffee. My three little blessing's are still fast asleep, so it's my time for a little while anyway!:) . As for my plan's today? I have some errand's to run, laundry to do. I hope to find a fun activity for my kid's so that I can spend sometime in my craft room.

Hi all

Well its a glorious sunny sunday here. The sun is shining brightly in the sky, not a breeze in the air, the birds are singing, the butterflies flying, the bees a buzzing, the grass has had its first cutting of the year. YES!! spring finally seems to have arrived.

My main hobby is gardening, my mum bought me for my birthday last year a greenhouse. So I have spent nearly most of my day in there, have got hollyhocks, daisies, morning glories, campanulas, rudbeckias, delphiniums, dahlias, fushias, sweet peas, snapdragons, all coming along nicely. Have had to do a horrible job this morning though, weeding.

Films this week watched, Holiday, March of the Penguins and re-watched Milou en Mai. I collect films and have over 2000 at the moment, I have always wanted to catalogue them but seemed a very daunting task, however last week I found some software where you can scan the films in by bar-code, it search various places to find a match and then creates a database on your pc, so I have done the first 100. Made a start at least.

Not got a book on the go at the mo, like reading horror and thriller genre, discovered an author called Robert Goddard recently and he has become one of my faves, very good for twists and turns and unexpected endings.

Anyway, back of into the garden, finished my coffee and huge bit of chocolate cake. Yummm.

HI All!

Sorry I haven't checked in--we have a sick baby and she's been here all night and today because Mom & Dad are sick, too. Nothing like a sick baby to take your mind off of EVERYTHING.

But just for today I decided I am not allowed to dwell on "It". When "it" pops in my mind I immediately don't let my mind wander and imagine a big red stop siign and even say stop out loud.

I just want one day of peace....I am pretending it doesn't exist and may one day when I have enought "practice"--it really won't...

NT, your green house sound lovely and I want all your plants so could you beam them over?

I need a tread mill. Could anyone tell me what to look for when seeking to purchase one? They seem like cars--so many options, but what is really necessary as opposed to fluff?

Puddle, So sorry to hear you have a sick little one, I know how that goes! As far a treadmilll's, I wish I could answer your question but I have NO clue. My H bought it last year and it work's well for me! I only use it when It's to cold to get out and walk!

I'm keeping very busy today! Found my time for crafting and it felt good. I am coming down with a cold, so I'm kind of dragging a bit! Hope your little one is feeling better. Happy Thought's!

Hi guys!

It is sunny and warm here in the Southwest!

The kids and I are relaxing today (I have five), but last night I went out with some co-workers and we karaoked. Love it.

And, two hot men gave me their business cards and asked me to call. Sorry boys. I don't call men. :)

Besides, I am interested in someone else....and I want to pursue this and see where it goes.

My son fell off his bike and ended up the ER Monday. Five stitches and many lacerations later, he is fine. The bike, however, didn't fare so well.

I am trying to get my heart healthy but I am a sloth at heart with, luckily, good genetics, so I am starting to eat healthy (baby steps). The exercise (eek) will have to come later.

Any pointers on how to get motivated to exercise?

Hi Freedom, Find yourself a walking partner! I found having someone to walk with was my motivator! I did this 1 year ago and it's the best thing I have ever done. It started last winter when I was trying to shed the last of my baby weight from my third child. I asked a friend of mine who lives down the street if she would be game? She was all for it! We would meet 3 times per week very early in the morning before our kid's were up! I went from a size 8 to a size 4 in 3 month's. We started out just doing a mile for the first month we are now close to 4 miles per morning! On the day's that I power walk I am the most clear minded and productive. If walking does not appeal to you, perhap's going to the gym with a friend could work. Good Luck.

BTW- Hope your little guy is feeling better!

I am sad to say that I have had a membership to a gym for over a year and I have gone ONCE. I can't motivate any of my friends to go with me, either.

That's the problem: if I had an accountability partner, I know I would work out. But as it is, I don't have anyone to make me exercise with them.

I think I'm gonna have to just grab the bull by the horns and suck it up.

I think I am gonna start biking. (Yeah, I'm not as reckless on a bike as my son!)

Thanks for the advice!

Freedom, Biking sound's like fun! My H and I used to ride Mountain Bikes. That was year's ago and they now sit in our garage! I would not mind taking mine out for a spin, although I think it might need a tune up first LOL!:lmao: What ever you choose to do, when you do it, you will know it's the right form of excercise for you. I hope that made sense. My cold is strating to get to me. Hugs!
