Guest Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 If it isnt a man disappointing me its a woman. A recent (new) friend i met (from an internet friends site) was supposed to meet me at 7. I spoke to her an hour before and told her to ring me when she left work. I waited a whole hour and she didnt call. I then left her a few messages saying I am now going home. She didnt reply. I got a reply 45 mins later saying she had "lost track of time" and her cell phone was in her bag. WTF???? this is just bad manners. She also did this last week. The time before that she left her phone at home! so i was left waiting. I have trouble making new friends ( all my friends have moved on and got married etc and dont have time for me) I meet people like this - someone who is single and my age etc. She has spoilt my weekend and it was supposed to eb nice and hot. I made plans - left work/got ready - had all my stuff packed ( i was going to stay athers) and she just let me down over such a stupid reason. A little thing like this - triggers all the feelings of being alone. How do imake reliable friends. I think she is really pushing my boundries. I have just switched my phone off as i feel too angry.
