confusedandempty Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Hey everyone - Long story short, met this girl in January and liked her from first minute. Initally we were just texting and stuff like that and eventually went on a date and few days later on a second date which ended with her spending the night here (no sex thought). Well, we continued seeing each other for few days, but then she seemed to lose interest in really short time. Stopped answering my texts and went cold turkey on me. Eventually I got a text from here where she said that she didn't think it was gonna work out. Okay, I know ... life sucks sometimes. I had a long (drunken) talk with her best friend few days later and she said that she usually does that when she falls for a guy. Just completely goes cold turkey and stops talking to him at all. Just as what happened to me. I met her through a friend of mine ... and they are also very good friends and I've met her quite often since we were dating. It has been quite strange recently. Sometimes she act really cold towards to me (doesn't say hello f. example.) But the next minute she's all friendly smiling and joking. I don't know if this means something, but I can't help thinking about it. If she usually goes cold turkey on the guys she has feelings for her, they probably disappear from her life. I however haven't disappeared as we have this mutual friend (my best friend). I still have been trying to avoid the friends zone by making myself scarce and not being heavly chatting when we meet. Guys ... is there any way to find out about this without asking her directly. I just want to know if I still have a chance, but I don't want to make a complete fool out of myself, as I think a friendship might work out just fine if she isn't romantically interested. Any advices will be appreciated...
