celesten10 Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 My ex of 5 yrs (on/off) broke no contact just now! First of all, he decided to break up by phone, due to daily arguing and longtime trust issues that i couldn't overcome, so instead i drove him insane. I made him end things pretty much. i was devastated, found out he slept with some other girl that same night. That killed me. A couple of days went by and I decided to get myself together, i was a mess. Could not eat, utterly deppressed, my ego was hurt. But the misery lasted 5 days. I realized It was for the best, I felt so much LIGHTER, this guy was ruining my life period. After a week, i decided to go out and enjoy a night out on the town, that night i met a couple of interesting guys, and ended up talking with a really cute and charismatic guy and had a blast - we talk, text almost everyday. Nothing serious. Just enjoying being single. He made me feel really amazing and forgot all about my ex completely! However, today, just now, the ex calls (i didn't pick up), so he texts - "don't worry i wasn't starting it again. I was just driving by your house.. Are you still cool w/ me even though things didn't work out?" I was stunned. Right after breaking up, i sent him an email saying i did not want him to contact me whatsoever and to keep our distance. He always breaks NC. I didn't want to appear bitter or resentful, cause i am not. I feel good and content that he is finally out of my life. And it is final, i know so. So i texted back and said "everything's cool, I'm kinda busy and not around" and that was it. Even though i was browsing the net What is he trying to do now?? I cannot be friends with this guy, but he just does not get it. I just don't know if i did the right thing, or if i should just ignore him completely next time. I can just see that he will try to call and text once again. Please advice!!
DaVinche Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 hmmm to me, sounds like things aint goin too well in the love dept for him so he rang to see if your still 'around' then sent text to cover his tracks!!!
