I put up a new myspace page a month ago.

I sort of half ignored it since...but, today I logged in.

Guess what!!

I had an email from a long lost friend of mine!

We lost touch, and have been wanting to find her, but I thought...how?

Yea!! :bunny::bunny::bunny:

Any other myspace stories like mine??

After high school I would have lost touch with so many people, we all went our own ways and honestly myspace helped us keep in touch, weird but true.

Yeah, I've gotten back in touch with about half a dozen long lost friends in the time I've been on. It's great for that sort of thing. :)

I have heard about people searching their school, and finding their classmates.

How come nobody told me about this???:laugh::laugh:

Quite a few of my former students have found me on there. No former HS or college classmates though. Not yet, anyway.

I got back in touch with my oldest dearest friend through myspace. I love that I was able to get back in touch with her. She ended up moving back to my town and we are thick as thieves now.

I have another childhood friend that I got back in touch with as well. We're not that close now, but I'm working on it.

Myspace allows me to stay in touch with people I normally wouldn't, and personally I don't think that's a bad thing. It's people who live far away from me, or people I lost touch with long ago. I LOVE reconnecting with old friends.

I am super excited about this.

Gotta go build my page up.

Geez, now I gotta figure out how to build my page. I mean, I have a page, but I don't have it decorated.

Any advice?

Searching for classmates is awesome, you can look for people that graduated HS with you.

oh my gosh...Hi blind_otter. Seems like you haven't been around much lately. Guess I could hunt you down on myspace!

I am glad you found all your friends! I am hoping to find some myself! :)

I agree! My girlfriend told me just yesterday, that she finally located her long lost friend and sent her an email. I was bored tonight, so I thought..hmmm I'll long on for the heck of it. I am so glad I did!

Now, I am trying to view her page but it's telling me: <img id="ctl00_Main_ctl00_Img2" border="0" height="1" width="20">

So, now what??

I am usually pretty technically inclined, but I am so lost right now!

I don't know if anyone cares, but...

I just got off the phone with her!!! Sorry, a little excited here!

We talked for 3 hours, and I am driving up to see her this weekend. She lives only 2 hours away from me.

She said that she's been searching for me for four years.

I am so flippin' happy right now.

I have a cousin who, from the time we were 3 until 8th grade when she disappeared, was involved in the same dance company as me so we were good friends, no one could tell us apart, they thought we were twins and wouldn't believe that we were cousins. Our separate sides of the family had a falling out and her mom ended up running away and getting married taking her kids with her, no one knew where they had gone.

When I went to college I met a girl in class who kept commenting that I looked almost identical to one of her good friends from California. After a month or so I told her I wanted to see a picture of this girl. She showed me her myspace page. I looked at the pictures and she did look a lot like me, I started reading her profile and realized it was my long lost cousin. I didn't recognize her because we hadn't seen each other in over 5 years. It turns out she moved back to our hometown for college so we have since met up and are friends again.
