She says she wants me, but does she really?

Several weeks ago I got in contact with a girl. We've been talking and innocently flirting for a while over phone messages, met a few of times while out and taken some walks just talking and even made out some. Last two or three weeks things have been moving in a new direction though, she's been saying she's more interested, and been curious if I could consider a relationship with her. I've told her that while the idea is certainly attractive, I would want to meet her more face to face, because although I do have a slight crush on her, messages over the phone just won't necessarily change that into something more. And, I also want to meet her more to see how well we work together in person for more than an hour or two once or twice every other week.

She agrees that we need to meet more, however (and this is what puzzles me), twice now has she made plans with me and not come through. One saturday she asked if I wanted to hang out on Sunday, I said certainly, the next day she didn't really bring it up so I did and she said she needed to finish something first before she could make plans, eventually it got so late I had to crash out for work.

Last time was last night, she asked me as soon as Tuesday if I wanted to hang out yesterday, I said yes and she asked again yesterday to confirm. Talked a bit when I got home from work and we decided she would come over to my place around 9:30 to watch movies and just have a nice low-key evening. Then, as I'm ready as all to go out to meet her (as she doesn't exactly know where I live) I get a message saying "Hey, I have to drive some people.. would you be upset if I rescheduled? kiss" - I was baffled, she's been really pushing lately for the whole idea of relationship and she well know my stance on what I recquire to get there and I get pushed down in priority after 'driving some people'? Especially since she asked about last night as soon as Tuesday and double checked earlier yesterday. It just doesn't add up to me, if you really want someone would you prioritize driving some people (at the last minute, mind you) over an evening with that person that might give you the break you're looking for?

Does anyone see any logic in all of this? Because I certainly don't.

Dont look for logic where there is none. She is happy with your attention. Only thing you can do is to eject sharpish. Be warned....it will bring her back temporarily. Id suggest to let her go completely. Attention Whores can f@ck up your life. Its waste of time.
