And what do you mean why?

I think that he/she means why you are just saying no? Sounds like someone listened to McGruff quite well in grade school.

Bible Code

Who’s a better parent Mom or Dad?

After watching an episode on the “Bible Code” I was inspired to embark on a mission to decipher a code deeply rooted in the words Mom and Dad. I am convinced that the founders of the English language cry out to us in subtle ways through the use of “code” to prove a very powerful point. Join me, as I unfold one histories greatest mysteries through the careful examination of the seemingly ordinary words “Mom and Dad”

Shall we begin?

First, let us examine some of the striking similarities in these two words

Both words are 3 characters long

Both words spelled backwards are pronounced the same

Example: if you take the third letter in each of these word and exchange it with the first M.O.M would still be pronounced M.O.M (this is utterly cool if you ask me personally) and same is true for D.A.D

These similarities are highly symbolic and are meant to prove that Mom and Dad are extremely similar in as far as their capabilities to raise kids are concerned. However, they do deviate from this equality premise very slightly and, in an extremely subtle way. What you will be reading next may in fact, solve one of histories greatest mysteries and put to rest, once and for all, one of the greatest controversies of all time.

Take the 2 words “Mom” and “Dad” and examine the position of the first letter of each in our English alphabet.

The D in dad occupies the 4th position while the M in Mom occupies the 13th position. Coincidence you say? Originally, I thought so too, until I dug further into this complex code I had stumbled upon. Notice, if you examine the second character (the vowel) in both words you the find same pattern

The A in Dad occupies the 1st position in the alphabet while the O in mom occupies the 15th position in the alphabet. As we can plainly see all of the letters in the word DAD always come BEFORE the letters in the word MOM. In my humble opinion these patterns are far too profound to be coincidence. Based upon these facts I must conclude that this was done by the founders of the English language, deliberately, to impress upon our society the obvious fact that dad comes first and is the superior parent.

Join me on my next thread where I explain why DOG is not spelled CAT

Seems like I have seen something very similar to this before. I have to say where it presents a decent arguement, I happen to think that I am a wonderful mother. I am a single mother. I am afraid, that other's will not see this one the same as you.....but facts are facts. Good luck getting support!

What about the fact that MOM in all caps reads the same in a mirror, but DAD gets messed up? What is the significance behind this???

Perhaps you have missed the obvious here. Mom only lets Dad think he comes first, which is how most marriages really function. By allowing them to come first alphabetically, it gives him the illusion of being in control.

an old parable goes "Pa is boss as everyone knows, but what Ma says always goes."

Alright I looked up "Bible Code" for the hell of it and not sure what these people expect to accomplish. Some of it's even confusing.

I mean come on...an area code is just that, an area code. Don't think it's going to unlock a hidden treasure.
