directx Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I'm ugly as hell and Im not getting any better. I dont even look like a celebrity.
Trialbyfire Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Feet are usually bad, so stunning feet is something to be proud of! All it takes is two professional pedicures, body butter and a loose pair of socks to wear at night while you sleep, after you've slavved on the stuff. In a month of good treatment, voila, stunning feet. I'm really not sure how I'd rate myself but I've been told that I don't look menopausal, so that's good. Don't forget to add that "You look great"...
Toni_no12002 Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 Id say i was a 3 or 4. Its strange because if someone looks at a photo of me they dont seem to find me very attractive but in real life they say im average looking.Ive seen it with quite a few people.Peoples personality shines through.
Internet Junkie Posted May 10, 2007 Posted May 10, 2007 I had the tendency of judging my looks, but i have decided that i want people to judge me. Their judging is complimentary.
Shizz Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 2 years ago I would have been a 3, now as I've been losing weight, gaining muscle, I've actually grown into a handsome man. (I'm often told that I'm very good looking, in a rough and rugged sort of way. I've even been offered modeling jobs.) I'd say somewhere between 2 and 1. I'm not a greek god, but I'm certainly no eye sore.
burning 4 revenge Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Id say i was a 3 or 4. Its strange because if someone looks at a photo of me they dont seem to find me very attractive but in real life they say im average looking.Ive seen it with quite a few people.Peoples personality shines through. You look decent to me. Both of you. I have the opposite problem. I'm better looking in pictures than in real life. Maybe IRL its my personality shining through.
burning 4 revenge Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 I'm really not sure how I'd rate myself but I've been told that I don't look menopausal, so that's good.
annabelle75 Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 I'd give myself a 2.5 although I am usually told I am well above average. I think as I have gotten older and things don't look the way they use to my opinion of myself has gone down a bit. I can't look 21 for ever I guess.
Touche Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007  Oh, shut up will you? That wasn't even directed towards you...TBF said that to me as a supposed compliment.
Touche Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 You look decent to me. Both of you. I have the opposite problem. I'm better looking in pictures than in real life. Maybe IRL its my personality shining through. :lmao: Yeah, that's it.
burning 4 revenge Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Oh, shut up will you? That wasn't even directed towards you...TBF said that to me as a supposed compliment.I wasn't sure if it was, but I was rolling my eyes at your false modesty.
Touche Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 I wasn't sure if it was, but I was rolling my eyes at your false modesty. Oh please...it's not false modesty. You should have seen what I looked like in high school before I was 17. I still carry that insecurity with me and I still seem to need validation that I'm not hideous.
ruby_gloom Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 This thread is funny. I need to remind myself to peruse these boards more often seeing as how Daniel posts mostly on these, and he's a riot. Seriously, his little subtle remarks always crack me up. Anyway, I personally think I look horrible in pictures. I've never had a picture taken of myself that ever came out looking nicely; they're always ugly. And I'm not that ugly. I mean, I'm not saying I'm pretty because I definitely don't think I am, but it's just kind of disheartening that my pictures never help me out even in the slightest. That said, I'm sure most people think I look better in person than in pictures. But regardless, I honestly don't think I'm very pretty. I don't think I'm horrendous (not always, anyways), but I don't think I'm very attractive. I think that maybe this is because both my mom and sister are very beautiful ladies, which makes me feel like the ugly little duck. Well, compared to them, I am the ugly little duck. Oh well, I guess. I think I'm a 4.
Teddy and Jane Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 Why am I not surprised that you think that? Nothing wrong with being confident in onesself. Anyway, I was replying in jest because this thread has been around a while and keeps getting revived, but the subtlety of the humor may have escaped you. Another poster in another thread that you posted on described herself as "absolutely gorgeous" and you didn't have a problem with that.

Anyway, in my experience, anyone who describes themselves as really hot, generally really isn't. Usually it's only that person who thinks they're so hot...other people generally laugh behing their backs.
Pink Amulet Posted May 19, 2007 Posted May 19, 2007 *falls off the chair laughing* Hahahaha, wow. Nice Tony, verrrry nice

hardcase Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 I personally would say above average to average. Alot of people, my wife included, say I look like a 38 yo version of Jake Gyllenhaal.
green-eyed beauty Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 I personally would say above average to average. Alot of people, my wife included, say I look like a 38 yo version of Jake Gyllenhaal. Lucky woman.
Ariadne Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 The option are... 1. Stunning 2. Above average 3. Average 4. Below average 5. Ugly ------ I'd say 1. Stunning. Ariadne
hardcase Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 Lucky woman. Ya think? Granted..still having a full head of hair and such at 38 makes me very lucky...but I always saw Jake as just an average looking guy...like I consider myself.
pricillia Posted May 20, 2007 Posted May 20, 2007 I describe myself as cute... better looking on days that I am in a good mood
