Well i talked to my ex, and it over for sure. Atleast for now, thats what im telling myself. I know i shouldn't show emotion, but when ya live with the guy still..its hard..everytime i see him i want to cry. Are there anyway to heal the heart but not push him a way?

I am a similar situation, though not living with. It actually helped me somewhat to KNOW that it was over, and that was a good first step in healing my broken heart. I work with the girl that wrecked me, so seeing her still hurts every once and a while. If it is possible to move, I would think that would be much healthier for you to distance yourself from him because you don't need any daily reminders. It has been a month for me, and time does heal wounds. I am about over the feeling sorry for myself stage and am getting ready to move on. But it did take time and letting emotion out on occasion. I don't know if it is possible to heal your heart IF you have him in your life. Are you capable of being "just friends", or will you always hold on to hope you will reconcile? If you KNOW it's over, I just don't see the point in having him around you, IMO, you would have a difficult time moving on. Your heart won't heal UNTIL you move on. Good luck, this happens to pretty much everybody, so you're not alone.

Let yourself get emotional. It sounds like your surpressing your feelings and your heart wont be able to heal if you surpress your feelings. Go and feel whatever your feeling and also do stuff that is important to you and give yourself time.
