luvtoto Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 To the women here, which "Sex and the City" character can you relate to most in your life? Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte or Samantha? And why? To the guys, which one of the four characters would you prefer to date? And why? Myself? I am such a Carrie. I can seriously relate with her need to be independent.
EC Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I am soooo Samantha... no need to explain do I? I am Camanthalotte. Ya know A half of Carrie Half of Samantha. And maybe sometimes Charlotte. lol
Trialbyfire Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I've never watched Sex in the City but I googled the characters and I think I straddle Charlotte, Carrie and a touch of Miranda. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex_in_the_city
Porn_Guy Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 which one was the smart and homely one with red hair? i'd be her.
TYASAFAHICSI Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I've never watched Sex in the City but I googled the characters and I think I straddle Charlotte, Carrie and a touch of Miranda. I'd like to straddle them too! As for dating, I think I woud do (in this order) Charlotte, Samantha, Carrie, and Miranda!
polywog Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 which one was the smart and homely one with red hair? i'd be her. :lmao: Here I was thinking you were so Samantha! I'm so Carrie, except I would've married the sexy furniture maker.
Trialbyfire Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I'd like to straddle them too! As for dating, I think I woud do (in this order) Charlotte, Samantha, Carrie, and Miranda! Very all or nothing of you.
Porn_Guy Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I'm so Carrie, except I would've married the sexy furniture maker. no...Burger would have been better for you.
polywog Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 no...Burger would have been better for you. Is that Mr.Big??? If so, NO. If not, which one was he? Not that awful writer guy with the jowls? Ick!
Porn_Guy Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Is that Mr.Big??? If so, NO. If not, which one was he? Not that awful writer guy with the jowls? Ick! Burger was the one who left the sticky note on her computer...
polywog Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Burger was the one who left the sticky note on her computer... It takes a lot more that a sticky note on a computer to get me excited.
ash519 Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 Burger was a jerk! Commitment phobe with major issues with successful women. I would have married Aidan too, so hot, so sweet. (Aidan was the furniture guy). I would say I am a cross between Carrie and Miranda. I am fun and all around normal dating wise, but I am also very cynical and very tell it how it is like Miranda. I love that show. But I do have things in common with Charlotte and Samantha as well.
Author luvtoto Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 Burger was the one who left the sticky note on her computer... Booger left something sticky on her computer? Yuck! Last night I watched Carrie break off an engagement with the good looking furniture guy. She was so freaked out about settling down with him, she developed a rash on her body! That would so totally be me. But, on the very last show, she married Mr. Big, her soulmate, no problem! I can so completely relate to that. If it ain't right, then don't settle for anything less.
polywog Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 But, on the very last show, she married Mr. Big, her soulmate, no problem! I can so completely relate to that. If it ain't right, then don't settle for anything less. But Mr.Big was annoying, and the furniture guy so sexy! This is what keeps me from being totally Carrie. Soulmates are overrated!!
Author luvtoto Posted April 2, 2007 Author Posted April 2, 2007 But Mr.Big was annoying, and the furniture guy so sexy! This is what keeps me from being totally Carrie. Soulmates are overrated!! I see it totally opposite. Haven't you ever had someone in their life that you just can't help but want? That was Mr. Big. He was unpredictable. Mr. Big kept things spicy for Carrie. Aiden was *yawn* boring.
tanbark813 Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I've only seen a couple episodes but I'd get on that subservient brunette chick.
Porn_Guy Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 I've only seen a couple episodes but I'd get on that subservient brunette chick. the one who married the bald jewish dude? yea me too, she was the best looking one. Carrie was a skank, Samantha too old and the red haired chick butt ugly.
tanbark813 Posted April 2, 2007 Posted April 2, 2007 yea me too, she was the best looking one. Definitely.

Mr. Big kept things spicy for Carrie. Aiden was *yawn* boring. Actually, he wasn't boring. He just loved her and treated her well, and she found that boring. She never gave him a chance to be unpredictable. Mr.Big was exciting, maybe, but he's a self-centered jerk. Yeah, I've been with my soul mate(s) and the guys I couldn't help but want and it was wild and exciting. For a while. But in the end, who needs to put that much energy into a relationship? There's so much more to life! I'd rather be with a stable, sexy furniture maker so I could persue my life's dreams, which aren't just men! Geez, I'm getting all philosphical.

Mr.Big was exciting, maybe, but he's a self-centered jerk.. umm...we're talking about TV fantasy land here folks. Usually womens have fun with the Mr. Big type but the don't marry them. Many times they end up marrying the boring and predictable "nice guy" who has a good job then they have few kids and get divorced after 10 years. "mr.big" types don't get married.

I never got into the show, therefore I really don't know much about the characters except what Wikipedia has to say. Honestly I do not find any of the four attractive but if I went by personality, then I would date Charlotte. She seems to be the romantic type and she seems very intelligent.
allina Posted April 3, 2007 Posted April 3, 2007 I think I'm a mix of Charlotte and Miranda, I guess...
