As some of you may have read....

My bf at at the time we were dating for 5 mths lost his best friend to suicide - it has been un beliveable hard for him as he had spend everyday with him since he was 4. He was doing quite well since the new year but had again fallen into a sad time - really down and missing him. It brings tears to my eyes because i know i can not do much more than listen when what i would like to do is take all his pain away.

It hurts me even more to know when have been fighting alot lately and things have been i guess rocky at time...so i put alot of blame on myself and pressure cause i think oh gosh he doesnt need the fighting (eventhough its not all my fault) and i wish i could "save him"...but cant :(

I think sometimes if we will super super perfect and happy he wouldnt think about his other pain so much...

Anyways...those are my strugging thoughts...

What im her for is maybe advice on that as well as what can i do that is inexpensive (im low on cash) that can bring a smile to his face....

i have sent ecards, taken him to dinners, i even planned a trip at a resort for next mth....but i want somehting differnt, unique to make him smile again....

what can i do to make him smile...im thinking of cooking him dinner this week....any ideas?

You should probably save any money you have for counseling for him.

It sounds like he is really having a tough time and talking to someone who assists people with dealing with their grief would be helpful.

You can probably find low cost or no cost help in your area.

Look at your community services to see what is available or start calling around to health care professionals. You will get referrals to help you.

Good luck. That's gotta to be so tough.
