TheRock Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 Been dating my GF for 8 months. We se each other a lot during the week days, but haven't gone out together on a wknd in a month. She keeps saying I'm "The One" and I'm the 1st person she thought about marrying. This wknd is her 30th B-Day. I'm going to dinner at her house on Sunday and to a hockey game w\her after. But, tonite she's going out w\her friends from work for happy hour and tomorrow w\her single girlfriend who is ALWAYS on the prowl and can't keep a guy. I guess I'm mad she doesn't invite me to hang at happy hour w\her and her co-workers or want to get together after. Happy hour s\b over by 8 and it is her B-Day wknd. Just thought she'd want to spend the nite having fun w\me. Seems everytime we get closer, she pushes away and starts hanging w\her single friend b\c her single friend gives her the guilt trip that she has no one to hang out with. I feel it's disrespectful to me for my GF to be going to "hook-up" bars w\her friend when I'm home or working at nite, even though she says I can trust her and she says she doesn't talk to other guys. I've discussed this w\her several tx's but to no avail. How do I handle this?
Mz. Pixie Posted March 30, 2007 Posted March 30, 2007 "Apparently, honey, we're not looking for the same thing out of a relationship- so perhaps we should just part ways?" Everyone needs a little time to themselves but it sounds like she's just not that into you.
Mr. Lucky Posted March 31, 2007 Posted March 31, 2007 She keeps saying I'm "The One" and I'm the 1st person she thought about marrying. Interesting that you describe how she feels about you but, other than your obvious anger and suspicion, nothing about how you feel about her? This might be a preview of married life with her so make your decisions accordingly... Mr. Lucky
