Powermonger Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Currently I've struck up a good friendship with a girl at work, where we both like each other but have never verbally said anything. I'm a naturally shy guy and sometimes when I'm around her I feel a little awkward and I think she senses it, sometimes she acts shy and awkward too and will only smile at me and not say hello to me even if I do. The other dilemma is the guys I work with know that I like her and take every opportunity to harrass me about it or even her when I do things for her. This in turn has made me feel even more awkward around her as I don't want to give my co-workers any more ammunition to harrass us by. We are going out together tomorrow night, noone else at work knows and I'm wondering if I should just tell her that I like her but sometimes I feel awkward around her due to the reasons given above. Would this be the kiss of death or would it help to explain things to her about why am like I am sometimes? I know people say not to date co-workers but sometimes the right person just comes along.

You can give your co-workers a finger or tell them discreetly while holding their gonads firmly, they should mind their own bussiness. You are feeling ackward because you are worried about what others might tell. It is a kiss of death. Dont mind others or dont date.
3hundred Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 You should tell her how and why you feel awkward around her in the office and ask her opinion whether you should keep this discrete or just tell everyone.. it would be a blast for both you and her either way, as long as you like to hang out together..

I have a strong feeling in a girl working in the same office. She is a very nice girl and always silent. We are good friends but not in a relationship. We saw a film together. I would like to have a close relationship with her. I fall in love to her but I can not feel the same feeling from her. I called her but didn't get answered even I left a message. She is white and I am an Asian boy. I don't know whether the different growing background will stem our relationship going further.I do care about her. What can I do?
