hardknocks Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 ok.. so had a great first date with a gal that seemed totally into me etc. we met through an online thing and then i gave her my email and we corresponded a tad. Then I had computer problems and I didn't realize that there was a typo in my email address when I set it up - so if you replied to my email - it wouldn't be delivered! So, I wrote her and never heard from her again - and it JUST dawned on me that the typo could have been the problem.. so I looked in my sent folder and sure enough the typo was in my address....... that was over a month ago!! SOOO what do I do? And of course she may have just been blowing me off!!
PussInHeels Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 That sucks...but I don't think e-mailing her once more would hurt. After all, it is just an e-mail, she doesn't have to even read if she doesn't want to. Hopefully, she will be understanding and want to go out again. If not, the worst that'll happen is that she won't reply.
whichwayisup Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Did you tell her that your email had a typo?? Maybe forward the original email to her (that shows the actual date you wrote her) so she can see with her own eyes you weren't playing a game. If you like her, email her again. You got nothing to lose!! I mean, who knows, maybe she'll respond. Put in the email how bad you feel about the mistake, let her know you are interested to see her again... I think if you don't try again, you'll wonder and maybe have some regrets.
bridget_jones Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 You're a wimpy guy if you are EMAILING her after a date anyway. What if she doesn't check her email that often? CALL her if you are interested. THAT is what real men do. and if she doesn't call you back, try again.
3hundred Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 If it was over a month ago, if you havent talked to her by any other means, you sending her an email with every bit of detail of what you did and what might have happened might freak her out even more... write a brief email telling her that you hoped that you heard from her and when you didnt, you wondered what might have happened and didnt dwell over it.. and now that you realized your return email was setup incorrectly you thought you would let her know what might have happened to her emails if she responded and tha you wanted to see what she is upto.. keep it casual and simple and if she is still curious, she will certainly reply back...
