Need !! No clue as to his behavior!!

OK so I am totally confused as to a guys behavior towards me. We have casually known eachother for about 6 years but never really talked due to jealous bf/gf at the time. we both went through difficult relationships and were broken. Well in January 2007 we began talking online and really getting to know eachother. He encouraged me and then we went on a date where we were both nervous like crazy. Well that began a process of long phone conversations where we never got bored and seeing eachother/ messaging eachother whenever we could. He was sweet and said he missed me and such and we told eachother we really liked eachother. I let him lead as the guy and everything was fine until the end of Feb. when he went distant.

He didn't message me or anything and I had to text him and stuff to say whats up? as a friend. He had said we were dating and then when I asked why he was distant he said it was alot to absorb for him so fast and he wanted to step back which was fine with me. But when Spring Break rolled around, we didnt hang out when I know he had time to say hi or something.

 

I saw him once and he kissed me two weeks ago and said he had to make up for lost time, but then after seeing him he went cold and says hes busy with school (we are both graduating in May). He also lives an hour away so online and phone is the only method of communication...he is moving here in may though. He said he wanted to develop a friendship but he hasn't even asked if I was ok when my Grandfather died!!

 

I sent him a letter asking him why he had suddenly changed on me because I just wanted some communication since we were friends and he had said he wanted to be with me. He became upset and short with me said he had reasons for not persuing me and he wouldnt tell me them. Well I was asking as a friend so I wrote him back saying he has misread me and I was just seeking to understand and ask for him to say "hey I will be busy until may so I can't talk" or something that would give me a clue. Since then nothing.

 

Also on his webpage he did place on his status that he was pondering where "that girl is". so I am utterly confused. We both obviously like one another but now he is so weird so any advise would be helpful!!! Thanks!

Read my signature! Maybe he thought you were someone else and than he saw you were not. Or maybe he got repulsed by your looks. Who the f*** cares and who the f*** knows. Drop him like a fly and move on!
