Scrivdog Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Hope I'm wrong, but reading the doctor's site leads me to think we're going to be subjected to alot of warm bubble bath and rose petals w/candles type of advice ..

That crap does not work. You need some good old fashioned biotch slapping and tossing the belongings out the top floor window. I saw part of this show once, the wife on it was a nutcase..... acted like a 7 year old girl. They surely pick out the nuts of all nuts for this show.

Everytime I get down on myself for staying single, I watch Divorce Court Cheaters The Jerry Springer Show Intervention Now I've got another one to watch!
Scrivdog Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Ok, so I Tivo'd the program the other day and finally watched it this morning .. what a load of crap. First of all, they picked a couple where the guy was simply a serial cheater on a wife who seemed to be perfect by all appearances. She was pretty, sensitive, kind-hearted, etc. It was hard to relate to this guy. He had very little reason to do what he did other than the fact that he just liked other women. So naturally this guy was the monster and had to be "re-educated". The poor wife was practically a martyr. It's a shame they picked such a stereotypical, one-sided situation for the show. My other issue is that I don't believe for a second that this woman fixed the marriage in that week. I'm willing to bet money that if they were to check into that couple within a month, he would be porking the OW again and/or the wife will be letting her anger out waaay more than she did on that show. What a crock
a4a Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 yep.......Scriv the one I saw had a nutcase (certifiable) ..... thumb sucking lunatic....... It is actually pretty hilarious. But that is TV, they pick out the weirdest ones to make a show out of it. I mean you could not do a whole hour on emotional needs alone..... that would be way too boring.
Scrivdog Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Lemme guess, it was the guy's fault on that show too, right?
a4a Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Lemme guess, it was the guy's fault on that show too, right? hell no she was a nut...... he was a nice guy..... ugly but nice.
Scrivdog Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 Wow! I think I'll get some popcorn and watch that one. That's a rare take indeed for daytime TV.
