So there's this girl...and we've been friends for over 6 months...and she's helped me through alot of my problems in life and stuff by talking to me...and she's helped me with a few of my relationships as well (she was dating another guy at the time) but they both broke up now and now we're both single...and I found out that she likes me recently (by reading a myspace comment to a friend and by how she acts around me lol) and I like her...but Idk if I like her as a friend or more than that. And I'm scared that if I do go out with her and we break up at some point (and from what I've learned in my past relationships)...I'll lose that friendship we've had for the past months, and I value it alot, we're good friends. She recently invited me to her house to help her study for a test...so we studied and just hung out for an hour after that just watching TV and talking and I had a great time just laughing and talking about interests and stuff. She's really the only girl who talks to me on a regular basis...and I look for that in a girl because if you met me, I'd probably be the quietest person you ever met and I tend to like people who talk alot to me lol Any advice on any of that? Do you risk losing your friendship with someone in any relationship?

If you feel strongly about her, yes, I would risk the friendship. If you see potential for a relationship with her and she in you then it would be a crime to not explore where it could go.

Only risk if you want more. To just try it on for size would be a waste of a good friendship.
