I can't believe Sanjaya made it to the top 10. :D

its just a popularity contest and has little to do with talent.

ok, first show on in 5 minutes. i hope everyone watches :)

PBS is not cable. Chances are the only ones who can watch it are those in your area. Everyone else may or may not be able to see it, depending when/if their PBS station decides to show it.

Science at war is playing on PBS here.. it is about germ warfare

I got excited for it after all your hype. But on my PBS station (UNC-TV) we have Frontline/World. Stupid North Carolina.

Posted

We have two PBS stations. One is playing Antiques Roadshow. The other is playing Northern Exposure. Frontline is on later. I might tune in to that.

Or else I might check out Good Eats, because he's making yogurt and I want to see if he does it the same way I do.

Did you also have a box of Kleenex and some vaseline ready by the couch?

Posted

As a woman kleenex and vaseline are unneccessary to my masturbatory efforts. But there is always a vibe within reach in my house. You never know when you'll need it and sometimes, darn it, the electric mixer breaks.

PBS here has some show about the gravitational pull causing pilots to lose bloodflow to their brains.

From what they're describing it sounds like it causes the same effects as doing major drugs. Groovy...

I will kindly refer you all to my first post on this thread (post #14). Last paragraph. Anyone care to quote it?

I remember what you said Johan. Something about them being ran locally or something. So it's not likely to air for everyone at the same time.

Good call Chief.

Also I believe PBS schedules are completely under the control of the local stations. So when/if you get to see these shows is anyone's guess.

................feel better ?

you'd have to watch it....it would take too long to explain.

I just looked at the profile pic and I think you are using too much hair product. Or you hadn't washed your hair in several weeks.

BTW, I missed the show tonight :o but I'm sure it will be repeated so I can jump into the discussion (which I'd do anyway since being informed has never stopped me).

My local PBS station didn't have it tonight either. Will be keeping an eye out for it tho.
