Author alphamale Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 I can't believe Sanjaya made it to the top 10. its just a popularity contest and has little to do with talent.
allina Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 At least we're not Polish. (OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH) Believe it or not that comeback doesn't really work
Author alphamale Posted March 28, 2007 Author Posted March 28, 2007 ok, first show on in 5 minutes. i hope everyone watches
johan Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 PBS is not cable. Chances are the only ones who can watch it are those in your area. Everyone else may or may not be able to see it, depending when/if their PBS station decides to show it.

My Fair Katie Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I got excited for it after all your hype. But on my PBS station (UNC-TV) we have Frontline/World. Stupid North Carolina.
johan Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 We have two PBS stations. One is playing Antiques Roadshow. The other is playing Northern Exposure. Frontline is on later. I might tune in to that. Or else I might check out Good Eats, because he's making yogurt and I want to see if he does it the same way I do.
johan Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I got excited for it after all your hype. Did you also have a box of Kleenex and some vaseline ready by the couch?
My Fair Katie Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 As a woman kleenex and vaseline are unneccessary to my masturbatory efforts. But there is always a vibe within reach in my house. You never know when you'll need it and sometimes, darn it, the electric mixer breaks.
amaysngrace Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 PBS here has some show about the gravitational pull causing pilots to lose bloodflow to their brains. From what they're describing it sounds like it causes the same effects as doing major drugs. Groovy...
johan Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I will kindly refer you all to my first post on this thread (post #14). Last paragraph. Anyone care to quote it?
amaysngrace Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 I remember what you said Johan. Something about them being ran locally or something. So it's not likely to air for everyone at the same time. Good call Chief.
Art_Critic Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Also I believe PBS schedules are completely under the control of the local stations. So when/if you get to see these shows is anyone's guess. ................feel better ?
polywog Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 alpha, is that YOU in the avatar??? I am shocked. You are actually cute. And sort of friendly looking. I'm having to readjust. I always pictured you as some mean looking bald fat guy. This is messing with my head.

amaysngrace Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 the show was excellent and very interesting Care to enlighten us, old wise one?
Author alphamale Posted March 28, 2007 Author Posted March 28, 2007 Care to enlighten us, old wise one? you'd have to watch it....it would take too long to explain.
polywog Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 yes thats me POLYWOG....you can see a bigger pic in my profile I just looked at the profile pic and I think you are using too much hair product. Or you hadn't washed your hair in several weeks. BTW, I missed the show tonight but I'm sure it will be repeated so I can jump into the discussion (which I'd do anyway since being informed has never stopped me).
AHIWON Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 My local PBS station didn't have it tonight either. Will be keeping an eye out for it tho.
