thecount Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 When I got divorced it was initiated by my ex-heartattack. She wanted to break up, but then changed her mind, So did I, I didn't want her back. But I sure as hell wasn't going to pay another dime. So I gave her no other choice but to file on her owe. I said thank you and good riddence.
tanbark813 Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 what is more impt?? the breakup with g/f or the divorces? The importance has nothing to do with the frequency. That's an entirely different discussion. And being that I've never been married, to me the breakups are more important.
amaysngrace Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I think Alpha is right about this. I've never been dumped. I filed for my divorce too. He may speak some truth in that it's the woman who mainly does the breaking up with the men. And also too, out of my group of friends, three of them filed for divorce on their husbands. The fourth one did initially, took him back and dropped the complaint, and two weeks later he left her and filed on her.

Of course this don't apply to everybody....just to the avg couple. In my inner circle I think I'm the only guy who's consistently dumped women. I'm known as "man-whore" jokingly by some of my buddies. But I dump most of them cause I don't like 'em anymore or cause I don't want anything serious with them. Most of my relationships have lasted 6 mos to a year. Had I decided to stretch those out then the chicks would eventually have dumped me!
magichands Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 I'm known as "man-whore" jokingly Are you sure it's a joke?
alphamale Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 Are you sure it's a joke? I really don't know? they are laughing when they say it...so? I dont' know i guess. how long till football season?
mental_traveller Posted April 6, 2007 Posted April 6, 2007 My main reasons for breakups have been: 1. Not good enough for long-term relationship material 2. Sexual chemistry insufficient 3. Too many arguments/hassle/drama
