Guest Posted March 24, 2007 Posted March 24, 2007 Hello everyone, you are so helpful in times of pain, it has been 2 weeks for me since my breakup, I broke up with my boyfriend because of non stop issues and arguments, jealousy, etc. Just wondering if anyone here can comment if going to bed with others while going thru this time of pain can help, I do not want a relationship since I have not healed, but a friend tells me to go out and just meet others and if I like someone maybe get in to bed. I don't know if this would be a good idea. Thanks for your comments
Ssheena Posted March 25, 2007 Posted March 25, 2007 For some people this is a good idea and will work and for others it's not. You do not have to do what your friend suggests if it is not right for you. What do you think will be best for you at this point in your life?
Trialbyfire Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 If you've always been comfortable with one-night-stands, then this might be the way to help you overcome your sadness. If not, I would highly recommend you stay away from this type of behaviour because you will only regret it afterwards. There's no reason why you can't get out though and casually date or hang with friends. Socializing with people you enjoy being with really helps to take your mind off the sadness.
AriaIncognito Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 If you do do this, use a lot of protection...
