The girl I am seeing lives 2 1/2 - 3 hours away (about 160 miles) and I see her every weekend for two whole days and nights. We've been together nearly two months. Is this, by anybodys definition, a long distance relationship? I'm not sure how to define it.

I know this is a less than serious post, but I'm just curius how this is perceived.

Yes it is.

My BF lives the same distance away and we see eachother most weekends.

Its a LDR.

I think it can be classed as long distance - although my fiancé used to live 100ish miles away and we saw each other every weekend and I never thought of it as long distance then. Now we're thousands of miles apart it definitely is. But I think each person would define it differently. So I'd say yes, even though when I was in that situation it wasn't.... if you know what I mean, I'm not very clear today lol

I would agree that it is long distance. Not as distancy as it could be, but there is still a distance

I would consider it as a long distance relationship.
