Magnatolia Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 Hey all, Today I was wondering. Say I'm sitting at a bus stop and I see a woman walking towards me out of the corner of my eye. When should I look and how long is too long? Example, do I look at her straight away, see if she looks back and then smile at her. Or should I wait until she is closer? Also, if a woman is walking past me and she returns my look, but looks away immediately does that mean she's not interested? I find that I'm about a fraction too slow in smiling, quite often by the time my brain has registered that she has looked, it's too late. Any advice? Thanks Maggz
Dadaal Posted March 22, 2007 Posted March 22, 2007 It depends on how good you're at stalking !! I always difficulty of reading the body signs, looks. I should also get some coaching.

Thanks Maggz Look at her, smile, and nod a greeting (assuming she seems to be looking in your direction). If she looks and smiles back, then she's either polite, or interested. If she initiates conversation, she's most likely interested. If she looks away without recognition, then she either 1: didn't see you. 2: isn't interested. or 3: is playing hard to get, and wants you to chase after her. That's how it works with me, at least. I'm not sure about all women, I can't speak for all of them... but that's it IMHO:) I know, also, that it wasn't extremely helpful. If she sits beside you or close to you, then you could just say, very casually, "hello" or some kind of nice neutral greeting. If she answers you, then there's a chance... the more you talk, and the longer the conversation holds out, the better your chances are, imo. So...that's it...hope it helped at least a tiny bit...
