someone2 Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Ok, I am a little drunk. You have been warned I am starting to notice a pattern in my life. For some reason, the non-attractive girls always have a crush on me. It happens in no time too. This semester, for example, in the first week, a girl started glancing at me, and smiling, and then out of the blues started a conversation with me and gave me her number (all that happening nearly in no time). Today the same thing happened in a seminar I was attending. Exact details. The common factor between those two (and many many others), is that they are not attractive at all I used to take that as a compliment in the past, recently, I am starting to think maybe I, myself, am not attractive at all, and that's why those girls think they have a better chance with me? That's why they approach me instead of the more attractive guys? I just don't know what to think If those girls are doing it, why don't the attractive ones do it too? Something is missing here. I need all your opinions. Does this happen to you too guys? What do you make of it? Ladies, any opinions? *End of rant*

Also what is your personality like that is attracting women that do not fit your criteria, and what is your criteria? please correct me if I am wrong, but a lot of men would take it either way... I mean how unattractive could they be??? Just kidding

What do you look like, er, more to the point, do you consider yourself "attractive", and please do go on, trash-talk guilt be damned, to describe these unattractive women who are flocking to you....we need to know, you see, so we can offer advice.

I just have one of those faces you see on the street. A face that you can put in the dictionary with the word "face" underneath it I do dress well though, and I am quite athletic, and I know I have a good body. As for those girls, I just don't know. They are just fat, ugly or both The most decent one was a nice girl I met about 2 months ago, but I still didn't call her. The reason it is getting on my nerves is that the curve is going down. For some reason, the girls coming to me are less and less attractive every day, and every time I say no, I get even less attractive ones. It feels weird. Maybe there is a god afterall? As for my personality, it is exactly what women hate. I am a veeeeeeeeeery nice person (I like to call myself classy too ). English is not my first language too, so I stay silent most of the time . Enough rants for now

The majority of the people on earth are average looking. True physical beauty is the exception rather than the rule. Maybe you need to start seeking beyond the face and body and start talking and learning about what's in their mind. True happiness doesn't come from being with a beautiful face. Aside from that, do you eat healthily and exercise regularly? If you are indeed one of the many, many average looking people, you should do what you can to do the most with what you've got!

Maybe some women hate nice guys, but not women you'd want to know! I suspect that the combination of nice physique, well-dressed, and friendly, approachable persona is making you a chick magnet. Personality, kindness sense of humor... But there are things that turn people off too, for me it is long finger nails on a man and he has to be clean cut... also warm and welcoming with a edge.

Now, someone2, your theory is simply scary! Ugly men hit on me as soon as mistakenly glance their way! Does this mean I am ugly too? I don't think it adds up. If anything, these girls approached you because you are a nice goodlooking guy. Emphasis on nice, therefore perhaps more approachable. Ok - I think you need to follow the advice thus far given... What is stoping you from approaching the girls you are interested in? And what kind of girls are you interested in? Am going to pour the pinot grigio now
