inde4544 Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 Basically I have been broken up with my first "real" love for about a year now. She has had a bf for about 6 months now but continues to call me and we did hook up a little bit when she first started dating him. I then initiated no contact on her which was going well, but she continued to email me and call me. I ignored her attempts but then she would leave me messages crying. So me being the idiot I am called her back and she was saying she wasnt sure if she had made the right decisions and everything. I told her I dont want her to feel bad and we should move on. Then she called me later on the wkend at 2 am most likely drunk saying how much she loved me, she wanted me to come hook up with her but I refused to do that. The problem is at this point my hopes got up again to reconcile but then the next day she acted as if nothing happened. I made the mistake of pushing the issue of getting back together on her. Did I ruin the chance of reconciling. I am so confused on what to do. She wants to remain friends and says it is not fair to the guy she is with now as she is happy and nothing has gone wrong in there relationship. I know some people recommend no contact but I figure if I can move on and be friendly to her not really friends but limited contact that may be helpful as I will either meet a new girl or maybe her and her bf wont workout and we could be together. I really do care about her and now feel as if I am back to square one as I feel pretty crappy about the situation again. Any suggestions would be great.
JCD Posted March 19, 2007 Posted March 19, 2007 Do NC and find yourself a new girl to replace your old girl. When a girl says to you she is unsure, dump her. Go for girls that you find cute and who show you that they're interested in you. Why bother hoping for something that might not come. There are many girls out there that are even better for you than this one you cry over. Trust me on that.
