casoria99 Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 I just want to tell you that your situation is very similar to mine, except I knew from the start he was married. But it is as if we are describing the same man. I just wish i had your strength or had known about LoveShack for this type of support early on. I have not written a lot about my situation here. But Freedom Now, you are someone I look up to on how you handled your situation. Your words in this forum mean more than you know to me. Thank you for being a blessing.
Freedom Now Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Oh, thank you very much. It has been a very long, difficult struggle for me this past year, but I am finally feeling myself again. My xMM is tenacious as all get out. He texted me yesterday telling me he was going to be closeby (the first time in a year that his wife has not traveled with him here to my state), and wanted to have dinner with me. I was floored, but so much pain has surrounded our affair, I just can't go back there. I want a fresh start with someone who hasn't proven that he is going to hurt me. You have been a blessing by encouraging me. And for this, I thank you. When you can PM, feel free to PM me... FN
whichwayisup Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 but I am finally feeling myself again. Add in one word, it changes the whole sentence meaning! LOL "but I am finally feeling LIKE myself again." "but I am finally feeling myself again." This just made me laugh.
lovernotafighter Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Freedom Now is a awesome and amazing woman, and I am so lucky to call her 'friend'. she has helped me and inspired me and shown me patience when everyone else..except MO of coarse, would have just thrown their hands in the air and said "LNF your on your own". Im feeling me to FN, I didn't mean to turn 'me' on! lol!! you rock hard sister!
Freedom Now Posted March 17, 2007 Posted March 17, 2007 Ah, LNF, the friends I have made on this forum have been nothing short of amazing. Every single woman who posts on this forum (BS and OW alike) has unique gifts. It is not the situations that define us, but how we persevere through them. And every one of these women (and men) are fighters. We are all fighting for emotional health, freedom and lives free from pain. LNF, you have been an inspiration to me, too. Without you and so many others, I would have never been able to walk away, hence my prior user name. FN/WA
