OK... I have been with this guy for over a year now. We moved in together about 5 months ago and in that time we got a puppy. Everything about him is really perfect. He treats me really good and is always doing nice things for me. BUT there is a problem. I am only 21 and lately i have really been thinking about if this is what i really want for the rest of my life. I never get to go out with my friends and i rarely get to see my family. :( I am super unhappy inside but i just dont know what to do. Also this is my 4th year of college and my boyfriend has already dropped out and doesnt plan on going back. This bothers me a lot. We pay the bills on time and stuff but he has no motivation to pay off his own personal bills that are rather high. Anyways.... I dont know what to do... Do I break up with the man I love to finish school and live the life of a 21 year old or do i stay with him and just get over the fact that my friends are having fun while im going to bed at 10pm everynight like a 95 year old woman?? :( I feel soooo selfish but i just dont know what to do. HELP!

If you are unhappy maybe you should communicate it to him. He would not know you are unhappy (most of the time) unless you tell him. If he does love you he would not want to see you unhappy and will try and make things better.

It does seem like he lacks care about his life and yours if he wants to give up college and not have a proper income source. How does he pay for his own bills??? if he doesn't does he get you to pay them?

You don't have to feel like your relationship is causing you to miss out on friends, family, going to bed later, etc., because it's not your relationship that's keeping you from having a social life, it's your lack of communication within your relationship. Tell him everything that's been bothering you, how each problem makes you feel, what all you'd like to see change in your life, about him, and within the relationship, and how he can help create these conditions with you. From the way you describe him, he sounds more than willing to hear you out.
