Lights Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 I'm sick of it. Can anyone offer some advice on how to prevent this sort of thing? Perhaps how to casually command a particularly high degree of respect that would outright preclude this sort of stuff? Or how to very clearly communicate that pulling this sort of crap is a pretty bad mistake? Thanks for your help.
IWalkAlone Posted March 14, 2007 Posted March 14, 2007 You can't prevent it, but unless the person has a very valid excuse and it was impossible to contact you when whatever it was came up (like you you agreed to meet in the middle of the woods where there is no cell phone service), don't speak to the person again.

That's all I seem to be able to do. This just shouldn't be happening though.
