Guest Posted March 12, 2007 Posted March 12, 2007 so my ex and i have been broken up for 8 months and havent seen her since until a couple weeks ago. she had made reservations at a romantic restaurant and things seemed to go well...we also hooked up a couple times however, she tells me that she doesn't see anything happening with us in the future and that she wants me in her life as a friend. she says that she doesn't see a "romantic" future with me to be exact. yet she calls me everynight and flirts with me here and there. the funny thing is, though we hadn't seen each other in 8 months, our chemistry was as strong as its ever been, we hadn't missed a step at all. she is 21 mind you, soon to be 22. i am 22, and although i know i have a long way to go and have dated a few girls in between, i really can't picture myself with anybody else but her. the reason why we broke up was because of her "confusion" lets say, she said that something erked her so she ran away and she felt that i took advantage of her easygoing-ness at times which is true. she also felt that i had put too much pressure on her as far as my happiness goes which is true as well. my question is, can she really just say that she doesn't see a romantic future with me and am i forever going to be pushed into the "friends" category?
