I'm really not one to date much. I find it to be real akward and like a job interview. Most guys I know before hand or I'll meet out places and for the most part I've always continued to talk to the guy after the 1st date. So I went on a blind date last weekend and well he just left a really bad taste in my mouth..got leered at the whole night, and physically was not my type. He lives too far from me anyway for something to develop so I guess there was no point in me meeting him anyway lol. He told me at the end of the night he had a good time and hoped we could do it again:rolleyes: So then 2 days later I get a text with the same thing.."had a good time hope we can do it again". Then a few days later I get a call from some strange number on my cell which i didnt answer. I know it was him bc its the same area code as his cell. Anyway he didnt leave a messege. So I put him on block on my aol, took him off my page bc I dont wanna be bothered by having him im me or something on the computer. Does this seem the route to go?

Why don't you text him and say you had a nice time but didn't have a "connection"?

I agree you should contact him in some way to let him know where he stands. To just blow him off like you're doing is pretty unfair of you.

But if you would just do the nice thing like Alpha talked about then you wouldn't have had to deal with the calls and texts..

Simple really...

If you don't tell him and he mentions how much fun he had but you just keep quiet then by default he is going to think you had a good time..

Human nature.. We all want to think of the best in a situation

Being assertive is ALWAYS the way to go. It prevents so many problems or potential problems and affirms another person's worth. If you get into the habit of being assertive after 1 date, you will be assertive in your relationships, which is a great quality to have.
