divineassault Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 I'm pretty broke by most peoples standards. Fresh out of college, no job, sharing an apartment with 4 people and working at a non profit. I mean, its not like I live in subsidized housing (thank god those days are over), but as you can see, I definitely don't have spare cash to spend on fancy supplements, gym memberships, or even real equipment (let alone space). Anyhow, to keep my body slim I like to eat varieties of cheap fish, sushi (everyone town has one cheap ass second rate sushi bar...you can't tell the difference, trust me...besides, if you're interested in the broke mans diet, you won't be able to anyway), and wing dings. Any meat I eat is baked...not only because its healthy, but because cooking oil cost more money that I don't have. Canned goods are essential. Get all your vegetables from the generic brand and you'd be amazed how many vegetables and beans you can stock up for under 30 bucks. Junk food is my favorite. Popcorn, peanuts, any sorta nuts are top pick. If salt is not your thing, I don't know what else to tell you...you're broke, Im' broke, we don't get choices. Lastly, if you're worried about that sodium, get tons bananas and stop drinking stuff that costs money. That would be anything but water. You'd be amazed. I'm not saying this diet has got variety, but if you wanna lose weight, keep it off, and not go broke, then this is whats up.
