When people say they get checked out/hit on all the time, what does "all the time"

I think women mean, for every 10 men they encounter in reasonable distance at least 8 of them will check them out.

 

This average 8:10 ratio proves men are pathetically visually creatures :p

 

They would have to look VERY approachable to be hit on "all the time".

 

Most men don't have the balls to hit on very attractive women.

There is an element of truth to this. The average guy or girl wouldn't necessarily have the courage to hit on someone who's drop dead gorgeous. Part of it is also body language. If the very attractive woman gives off the impression that she's unfriendly, it's guaranteed that men will not approach because they will be completely intimidated or even turned off.

 

I work in an industry with some very attractive people in general, although there are more men than women. Some of the women are stunning. Of these women, some get hit on all the time and others have the "Do not approach, I'm too good for you sign", so the guys steer clear.

I think it has more to do with the fact these hotties walk extremely fast. Many of them are a blur, you can't even see them.... How's a guy gonna ask her out if he can't even catch up to her?

 

These women need to chill and slow down a bit. You know, stop and smell the roses.

Why do I get this visual image of you in track gear, running after gorgeous women?

 

There are two women that I work with who are perfect examples of this.

 

One is an ex-ramp model in her late twenties who is always friendly, smiling often, laughing and kidding around all the time. She was one of the first people who was friendly enough to start talking to me almost from the first day I started. We chatted about designers we both appreciated, complimented each others' clothing and discussed work. She is swarmed by invitations to almost everything possible and the guys literally follow her around like lap dogs.

 

The other woman is around 25 or so. In the looks department, she would rate probably a notch above the ex-model. Perfect everything. Sexy as hell. Know what? She knows it and gives off all the wrong signals. She then complains because the guys don't ask her out.

 

One thing I do want to say for about the billionth time on LS is that I'm not model material, never have been and never will be, not even close.

 

It's one of my pet peeves when people misrepresent themselves on the internet.

So maybe that is my problem??? Ha, Ha. Although I do not in no way consider myself a "hottie"..... of course not, I'm middle aged, but attractive, cute, in great phsyical shape and younger looking then I am at that.... but I do still get checked out quite bit, everywhere.

I made Rouladin with mashed potatoes and baby spinach salad with a honey/balsamic/mandarin orange dressing. Can you tell that I enjoy my food? :)

I do get a laugh out of it when people on your side can't wait for the work day to be over and I'm on the other end and it's like 6-7pm my time, lol!
