Am4Real Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Gravity. It keeps you rooted to the ground. In space, there's not any gravity. You just kind of leave your feet and go floating around. Is that what being in love is like? Josh Brand and John Falsey, Northern Exposure, The Pilot, 1990
Trialbyfire Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 I loved that show. It was so quirky but full of wit and humour. In some ways, I will say yes. As long as you don't lose yourself in it, it can be an amazing freefall, full of positive synergies. Of course there's the flip side of that but this isn't the thread to put them in.
Stewart Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 The mountain is as high as the valley is deep... that's my opinion on love! Love can be the best and worse thing in the world.

I think to be in a relationship and truly not lose yourself in it...thats what I am looking for. Being single and being in a relationship/in love can both be tough and great, just in different ways. I am so glad that I am single now because it is forcing me to do and be so many things for myself that I tried to get from my boyfriends. I think some of these things are hard to get/maintain in a relationship if you havent gotten them on your own.
MagnoliaJane Posted March 18, 2007 Posted March 18, 2007 I love your quote A... Love is a constant act of forgiveness.
