Guest Posted March 6, 2007 Share Posted March 6, 2007 So, this is kind of a strange topic, but... and you will probably call me insecure.. My boyfriend asked me to marry him about two months ago. He bought me a ring and everything. So I suppose I should call him my fiance now. But there are a couple of things that are getting to me, and I'm wondering if anyone would like to give their two cents. I have blackish hair and I'm kind of pale. It's not that I'm extremely white or anything, I just am not one of those fake and bake girls. Well, the thing about Mark (my fiance) is that whenever we discuss what celebrities we think are "hot", he ALWAYS goes for the blond, tan, fake-boob chicks. He loves them! I have never heard him say that ANY dark-haired chick was good looking. I would feel MUCH better if he was a Jennifer Connelly/Katie Holmes/et cetera fan. Do you think this is bizarre or what? He has an obsession with blond, tan, fake-boob chicks! He goes out and buys porn all the time and watches it when I'm not with him...and he always goes for the Jenna porno! He tells me about it, and I don't care, it's just really weird that he thinks I'm "sooo hot" and I'm not his type at all! Another thing that I wonder if it's weird or not, is, whenever we go to the bar together, or go out to a party or something, he will always find the most attractive girl in the bar and tell me about how either, a) she wanted to go out with him once, b) she told him I was a "lucky girl" because I was his fiancee, or c) tell me her friend told him he was hot, or something...but he will always add in, "I love you and I would never go out with her," or "I love you and you are my princess and I told her that, so there!" or something like that. Do you guys think this is weird? I mean, why is he making up stories? Really weird. I would love him no matter if ANYONE thought he was attractive or not. Do you guys think this is weird? Should I bring any of it up? I told him I would dye my hair blond if he REALLY wanted me to, it's not a big deal...but I think I would look weird. Any advice? Thanks!
