The Labyrinth Posted March 1, 2007 Posted March 1, 2007 Hi all, i guess it all begins like this...there was this girl ^^ well there is, and the problem is that i have a quite a late start in the dating world, i am 24 and i have not yet had a girlfriend. so i am confused. Well i will give you all the cliff note version. ( its quite long) - meet girl a year ago ( she is 18 now 19 ) - took her out to a movie, i rushed and she got scared ( then vanished ) - she was beginning college and i was forgotten - I went from minimal contact to NC - then well through my friend, she now works bi weekly in our business we started. - I went home for new years, when i come back i brought back an broken hand. ( its healed now) - when we see each other we always was flirting casually - she always touchy feeling around me ( which is good , i thought she might be bored so she uses flirting to pass time) - so we hang out a couple times during the weekend -we talked on the phone for hours now - and generally had some fun just walking in the mall - And then yesterday after two days of no calling from either of us ( after walking and spending the whole sunday together, i called had a chat and asked her to go out friday and hang out) -she said yes, but after more chatting she said friday might not work, how about saturday after work. I said well if thats the case, sure Okay so here is the dilemma, i can't read the signs of whether or not she is interested in me romantically or just as friends. And i need the great people of LS to help me decipher these signs. 1- when she need to call me and ask for something, she always say her mom wanted her to ask me ( i have meet the mom and we have talked and she doesn't dislike me. was invited to dinner a couple times) 2- she doesn't call me like when she was chasing me before when i scare her off. No email, no calls, but when i do, we can talk for hours. 3- she is always showing me what she buys or was interested in buying and asking me for advice. ( clothing only ) 4- she is always telling me that this guy or that guy tried to ask her phone number, and that they are annoying and she dislikes them. 5- its obvious she doesn't mind me getting close to her, because she fixes my collars, or if i have some linen on my cloth, she always picks them before i notice them. 6- i haven't made any real move other than testing if she pulls away when i accidently touches her hand or my feet bumps into hers. 7- i asked her to go out on friday, she said yes first, then she changed to saturday night after work together. Does she just want to be in control or she didn't want to ruin saturday if it doesn't work out good. And saturday night out, what should i say or do, or don't do, i don't want history to repeat itself. ^^ Please help me with what ever advice you can give Thanks in advance.
