chill chic Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 If a guy that you've been seeing for over year, asked you twice where you bought your jewelry from, what would that imply?
Tony T Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 If a guy that you've been seeing for over year, asked you twice where you bought your jewelry from, what would that imply? Could be he's wanting to buy some similar things for his mom for Mother's Day.
magichands Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 C'mon Tony T...stop teasing. He is obviously gauging how much to spend on the engagement ring.
Author chill chic Posted September 25, 2006 Author Posted September 25, 2006 C'mon Tony T...stop teasing. He is obviously gauging how much to spend on the engagement ring. so what if I said I got one from Nordstrom for a discount and the other at kohls? lol I don't care about the fanciness of the ring, I'd just care about who I'd get it from, it's the thought that counts
superconductor Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 I don't care about the fanciness of the ring, I'd just care about who I'd get it from, it's the thought that counts Then tell him that!
Touche Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 If a guy that you've been seeing for over year, asked you twice where you bought your jewelry from, what would that imply? Could he be trying to gauge your net worth?
luvstarved Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 Well maybe I am too aggressive, but I would ask him why he asked. I think his reaction would speak volumes, even if not a straightforward answer. But be wary of coming to any conclusions...you won't know for sure until he has made it clear one way or another.
littlekitty Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 He likes your style and wants to get something similar for someone elseHe wants to buy you a present I'd go for those two over proposing, certainly if you haven't at least discussed it some form?! But you never know!!
Author chill chic Posted September 26, 2006 Author Posted September 26, 2006 Could he be trying to gauge your net worth? just maybe....
tikigods Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 based on what you said, when he lived near you you guys were never totally serious. I don't see him buying rings for you when he didn't commit to you when he was close by. Also he is suddenly asking you how much your parents have and hinting that he wants to buy you still? I would guess that if he is shopping for a ring that he might also be trying to get some of the money that you might have
