saltxwater Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Long story! 2 years ago I was all friendly with this girl, charlotte, and we were great friends. We went out for a few months, but she broke it up. About a week later she went out with this other guy, and they had a year relationship. I also had a relationship with this other girl, and was very happy. Things went bad with this other girl, and things went bad for charlotte, a few weeks ago. I made a secret e-mail address and sent her an email saying hi. and after a bit of talking through email she figured out it was me. i said that i kinda missed her still, and she said something along the lines of that we really had something special, and she thinks about me from time to time becuase they were really nice memories. then, yesterday, she asked if i wanted to go ice skating with her again. (when we went out together we went skating every week, and had a great time going just the 2 of us.) Today we went skating, and she kept talking about memories of the two of us, with our friends a few years ago. It was just the two of us who went today, she didnt want to invite anyone else . . . She said that we should go skating with all of our old friends, who used to go skating with us from time to time. She is a very social person, with LOADS of friends. I still miss her. She was my first real relationship with someone, and when we broke up I was sick for weeks; and i cried. I was happy with the other girl i went out with . . . but i realised today that charlotte is still the only person who makes my heart beat fast, my mouth go dry, and I dont know what to do! What should i think of today? She kept talking about when we were together, and saying that they were great memories; is this just friends remembering the past or is she wishing it was still like that? What should i do? thanks everyone

kitten chick Posted November 5, 2005 Posted November 5, 2005 Have you asked her what she wants? It seems difficult to tell if she's reminiscing with someone who was once an important part of her life or if she could be interested in starting things up again.

Yamaha Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 My take is that she remembers the good memories that you two shared but I doubt that she wants to renew your relationship. Why did the two of you break up? Like the others suggested the only way to know for sure how she feels is to ask.
