LovelyJublee Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Hey guys, I think I am too beautiful sometimes. When I am out in clubs people just stare at me and hardly any men approach me because they think I won't be interested. I only ever seem to get the bald/short/tubby men come over who do it with their pals watching in the corner. Do I have to be plain or normal looking like most women for a man to come up to me? Same with internet dating. I don't use my real photos anymore as men just want to talk about my looks all the time, even if I change the subject to world peace or something. Are there any other really gorgeous gals out there with any tips, or even guys perspectives as to why you find me so intimidating?
CloudLiver Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Post a photo. It'll make it easier to evaluate your question (he,he).
Knittress Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 You want to 'discuss world peace,' and yet you're looking for an intellectual connection in a club or online?? Uuuuuuh, no. Try dressing down a bit, getting involved in some type of community that fits your interests, and then make lots of eye contact with the available cuties. Ta da!
Author LovelyJublee Posted April 2, 2011 Author Posted April 2, 2011 Yes maybe I should join a book club. But even then people will probably just stare at me...
CloudLiver Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Honestly, I don't really find you intimidating. You're just a faceless internet person asking for help. Can't take your question seriously unless you post a photo.
Knittress Posted April 2, 2011 Posted April 2, 2011 Yes maybe I should join a book club. But even then people will probably just stare at me... Well then - say hello! Crack a joke which shows you're a human being with an approachable personality. Even supermodels get dates and make friends...

somedude81 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 It would really help to wear some clothes when you go out. That's probably why men don't approach you. Crazy lady in her underwear.

If you want to be Hermoine Granger (total nerd for quoting Harry Potter, I know, but just bear with me), you can't act like Paris Hilton.
Wolf18 Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 OK, here is one of my modelling shots http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=71rbqx&s=7 You're pretty, but nothing that out of the ordinary. Maybe the hot guys at the club take a good look at you, but then when a chick with a bigger rack comes by you lose their interest.
xpaperxcutx Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 OK, here is one of my modelling shots http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=71rbqx&s=7 IF that's really you, then you're gorgeous. There's nothing wrong with initiating. You're selling yourself short by only allowing unwanted men to do the approaching.

Well judging from her initial post, she wants to talk 'world peace' with Fabio LOL. Sorry, you're not going to get a guy whose in a frat and who spends 5 hours in the gym every day interested in philosophy or politics generally...
LeaningIntoTheMuse Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 You look like a cross between a young Elizabeth Taylor, and Keira Knightley. Yeah, I agree with what I said. You need to dress a bit preppy, not slutty. It's probably the fact that these guys that approach you have nothing to lose, and just want sex, and you're not presenting yourself as more than that.

Well I am signed to one of the biggest agencies in the world so clearly I am out of the ordinary. It is sooo frustrating.

I bet you are ugly to make a statement like that about people.
CloudLiver Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Nice photos. Well, in this case, America's men are crapshots. Real men in America, like me, are rare. Regular guys are not going to approach you. I suggest traveling to a country where the men are more assertive. Italy? Germany? Any other suggestions? A model like yourself, you've certainly got the money to travel.
LeaningIntoTheMuse Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 So are you saying hot guys don't like conversation? I bet you are ugly to make a statement like that about people. Troll alert! Troll alert! Yeah, sure, you want to be appreciated for the inner you. I bet that isn't even you, and that you're just some average looking girl who found a modeling shot on the internet and decided to troll the site with it. Oh, and hot intelligent guys like hot intelligent girls. Either you're not hot enough, or not intelligent enough. And someone who would call people ugly for having differing opinions is pretty damn stupid.
highviolet Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Yeah, somebody call the WAH-mbulance. Maybe the guys can smell your huge ego. Cuz it stinks
CloudLiver Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 LIM and highviolet, I bet you dollars to donuts, she was joking.
LeaningIntoTheMuse Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 LIM and highviolet, I bet you dollars to donuts, she was joking. I think people who call themselves lovely are )($*%^()#$*(%(%(*#(%*%)#$*%()$*$)%*%)#$*%)%*U#)%*$)#*I%)$*#)%*#)#*(%)!!!!!!!!!!!! Fill in the blanks. That's pretty much what she just did, for every single person on here with low self esteem.

You're lovely, we all are lovely too, so stop being such a bug-a-boo.
Author LovelyJublee Posted April 3, 2011 Author Posted April 3, 2011 Well yeah I was joking because he made a joke about me not having a big enough rack! Plus he put down every good looking guy by saying they don't like to talk about anything! Lean, what is wrong with calling yourself lovely? I raise lots of money for animal charities and have good manners.
highviolet Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Oh, I just figured it out, Cloudliver and Lovelyjublee are the same person.
CloudLiver Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 Everyone, ignore highviolet, the troll. She/he/whatever obviously has issues.
