dng Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 When it rains, it pours, or so it goes? I've been doing so much better lately and I'm realizing all the abuse I've taken over the breakup and over the relationship in general, and can't stop myself from firing some back to her over email. I've sent three over the past two weeks, which has finally prompted her to get off my back. Everywhere I read "Take the high road" and I was on that high road until 2 weeks ago. That has to stop, right? There is so much that I left unsaid and just took it like a man. Now all this is bursting out, mostly to my friends and entourage, but some trickles down to her...

If it got her off your back it has served its purpose. Leave it at that. Don't lower yourself to being bitter. Don't allow her to paint herself as the victim anymore.
