In the event that he came, he was surely embarrassed about it, hence it not being made perfectly clear to you as I'm sure he would have preferred. If he precame to the point where you felt it, I'd be surprised that he became soft because of something you did. This general area of men's performance can be just as sensitive to men as female orgasm can be for women. I appreciate that you're trying not to hurt his feelings.

Maybe he wasn't into it, or he was nervous, tired... It happens sometimes, in relationship it's not an issue because the other half knows that you can perform well, but it can be embarrassing if it's just first or second hook up. There can be a lot of reasons to go soft at that point--a distraction, some guilt or second thoughts, w/e. And yes, it's possible to be hot to trot and shut it down pretty quickly if the circumstances demand it. As for negatives on the part of the partner I'm sure there can be plenty of reasons and instances where a dude will get turned off.
