Guys- if you were NOT interested in a girl that had a crush on you how would you act?

If you found out that a girl had a crush on you that you were not interested in at all how would you act around her? Would you do everything to avoid her so you wouldn't lead her on? Or would you still be friendly to her? I ask because I am in this situation where I let a guy know I like him and I think he may like me back but I'm not sure. He has stared at me and smiled so far.

Personally, I would do whatever I can not to lead her on, even sometimes being a little bit mean. I kind of think a lot of dudes wouldn't mind playing the field, though, so they're more likely to be friendly even if they're not interested. In any case, I still think staring and smiling isn't a clear-cut expression of interest just yet. See if you can get more out of him!

Usually, the guy will avoid you if he is absolutely not interested. I would offer a word or warning though - not all guys are like that. Some see it as an open invitation to make you a FWB and treat you like utter crap. Just be careful.
