Exit Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Oh god, I knew my friend liked this movie and I've never seen it, so I told her that it was on tv and she warned me "don't watch it". But nothing else is on. It's causing a lot of thoughts and emotions. Makes me want to believe that two people can survive breaking up and dating other people. I know it's just a hollywood story, but damn. The part in the story where he writes to her every day for a year after they break up really made me question NC.
hoping2heal Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 It's a movie, seriously. Also take note; neither of them actually WANTED to break up. She came to the lumber yard to tell him she was sorry and he would of reconciled also. BIG DIFFERENCE, than someone dumping the other becuse they don't want to be with them anymore. Also, I saw your other post Exist. About, how you're now the person she wanted you to be. What did you mean by that?
Author Exit Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 The longer I watch it the worse I'm feeling lol, but I have to finish it now. Also, I saw your other post Exist. About, how you're now the person she wanted you to be. What did you mean by that? I had a lot of anxiety and depression to overcome. The year and a half I was with her was mostly spent hanging out at home because I never wanted to go out. Since she's left, I've had no choice but to make some changes because I realized I would keep losing things I care about in life if I didn't change. So now I've confronted and conquered so much of my BS, and it's too late.
Author Exit Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 This movie is pure f'ing torture....
georgia girl Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 Exit, just remember that you'll wake up tomorrow and feel so much better than you do right now. The movie is fiction but it taps into all of your hopes and dreams. Reality is that you've done some wonderful things for yourself and the person you are now wouldn't have been possible (it sounds like) without this breakup. Enjoy this person - you rock!
Author Exit Posted August 13, 2009 Author Posted August 13, 2009 Aaaand the movie is starting over again, they're playing it twice lol. It really made me want to contact her, but I think I'll be able to hold out. My ex isn't the girl in the movie, she couldn't even begin to understand a love like that.
andreww Posted August 13, 2009 Posted August 13, 2009 i was thinking about this movie the other day. lol
