Honestly, is a girl with unshaved pubes a huge turnoff?

Please be TOTALLY honest. I normally shave my pubes cleanly but recently I contracted molluscum (which are pimple-like lesions in the pubic hair area). I had surgery to remove these lesions but I'm pretty sure I will have at least some degree of scarring on them  and they'd be a bit sensitive for awhile so I don't think I'd be shaving that area.

The most I can do is TRIM the pubic hair the best I can so that it won't be a complete bush but honestly...I mean even if it is not a deal breaker for you guys, will it still be a pretty big turn off? Please be HONEST.

I hate to say it but I've got course dark hair down in that area. :o

I'm not a big fan of the completely shaven lady-part, so it would be fine by me.

thanks for killing my appetite, bro

I think you were given a gift with dark pubic hair. Your partner is/will be a lucky guy. You'll look veery feminine and enticing with your bush. :bunny:

i prefer women who trims nicely than shave it all completely. an ex of mine tried shaving regularly and started getting irritated down there; she did it just because and not cos i asked her to do it. she gave that up rather quickly.

Both work for me, clean or trimmed.

My boyfriend doesn't mind that I have pubic hair. He says I look like a woman and not a child. The lower half of me lol.

He does however shave around my anus a few times each year as we do anal sex occasionally. So what ever you prefer it's your body.

I dont bother me nor I would say most men. Just keep it trimmed that is not growing beyond say your panty line and it will look fine.

Please be TOTALLY honest.
A few hairs straying beyond the bikini line has always been a bit titillating :)

OP, if you're uncomfortable about the scars, grow the hair in. No man who is attracted to you is going to mind, either way, but you perhaps will feel more comfortable and that's important.

I just shave around most of the area but leave a little "landing strip" and I make sure to keep that short as well lol....WOW I'm sharing a lot of info here.

In my experience, some guys seem a little taken aback when Ive had my, um, longer days. But like someone above me said if they really like you it wont matter a damn bit.

It wouldn't bother me, as long as it is trimmed. If it was like a pirates beard then yeah that'd put me off.

IMO, the landing strip is the sexiest. But as long as it's at least trimmed, it's all good. When they're long enough to be tickling a guy's nose or getting in his teeth (having to stop to either sneeze or pick hairs out of your teeth really breaks the flow...so to speak), it's time to trim them back a bit.

My ex was like Buckwheat down there. Since she was a crazy b*tch, I never brought it up for fear of being screamed at, or given the silent treatment for a day. (Yeah - it was like that.)

Shaved is not important. A little creepy, actually, like a child. Trimming is VERY important though. Girls will say the same thing about guys.

To conclude, I agree with most everyone else: trim it up, but shaving/waxing aint necessary, and most guys don't need that to get it up.

Scorched earth. Wax it maybe? Pubes are gross. I like no hair below the scalp/eyebrows on my girlfriends. Don't worry about the scars, it will be dark.

After you heal, just go and get waxed. Leave a strip if you like, as having a Brazillian hurts like hell. After you have had it done professionally a few times its easy to maintain at home.

I go Brazillian because Ive been doing it so long, nothing else looks right.

To be honest, if the natural look came back, Im sure most women would be releived.

The hair on your head should be the longest and thickest throughout your entire being.

A lot of guys don't mind and some prefer, the neatly trimmed landing strip. Just do that for the interim or forever, reliant on whether you heal or not and if it bothers you to show a few scars. I wouldn't doubt that a lot of guys wouldn't even notice a few tiny scars, particularly since they're more focused on other matters.

I second that. In fact, one experience was erotic enough to burn the vision permanently into the retina of all my three eyes.

As long as it's not out of control I believe most men won't care.

It really depends from guy to guy what they like so this is something you can only ask your partner. If you like it clean then go and get waxed. Me personally anything more than a landing strip is a turn off.

Big turn off for me.

I heard anal bleaching is all the rage these days too.

I usually shave completely, but in terms of attraction I find girls more appealing with a little bit of trimmed hair on the vulva (but not between the legs). Seems more erotic.

GB, trim the pubic hair and if possible, shave off the hair from your labia (vagina lips), because THAT is the sexy part, not the part abive the vagina. Guys want to feel andsee the vagina, they don't care what's above it, as long as it doesn't hide the view or look like a forest.

I agree with this. IME most men are concerned with the labia being hairless, and also most all of the men I've been with preferred trimmed hair on the mound.

Personally I hate having a bald puss. First off, I remember eagerly awaiting my pubes in pre-adolescence, as a signifier of my entrance into womanhood - I waited all that time, just to shave 'em off? I don't think so. Secondly, they itch like a mo' fo' when the hairs grow back, but if I shave all the time I get ingrown hairs. Third, I think the naked woman looks a little odd with absolutely NO hair on their area. JMO.
