running4life Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 A guy I love (call him Mac) is home from school on college break. I asked him to go on a hiking trip with another friend next week and he agreed. Months Prior, he told me he wants to get back together with his ex girlfriend (sara). He asked asked if sara can come along on the hike. I said yes she can...ouch...I feel like telling Mac that I love home. What would that do?....or telling Sara "realize how special Mac is."...what would that do?..messy stuff

Don't say anything to anyone. What 'Mac' and his ex do about their relationship, is up to them. What you do about your feelings for 'Mac' is your issue. If he doesn't know how you feel, and is utterly oblivious to your sentiments, then you're already onto a no-hoper....

This sounds like a future chick flick!

It's probably not love that you have for this guy, I mean, how could it be since there hasn't been any development of the relationship? He has already expressed his desire to get back with his girlfriend. You have already agreed to let her come along. In my experience letting things play out is one of the best ways to respond. How about waiting to see how things go on this little hike?
