Rob2183 Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Alright, this may be a bit long but I could really use the advice. about three months ago (November) I met a girl and we started talking sea 21 and in school and I'm 25, she's very mature for her age so the difference in age seems non existent. at first I thought this would be more or less just a hook up sice we were both physically attracted to each other, but over time it became more than that.we talk everyday, good morning texts/goodnight calls all of that I even visit her at school that's about 45 min away and I stay up there with her. when she was home from school for Christmas break we saw each other everyday and ha sex a few times. on Christmas she invites me over to see her family and have dinner it was a fun time and the family loved me. Now my issue is this recently about a few days ago she said she wasn't ready for a commitment and that she did not need space just some time to figure herself out and that she ha walls up from previous relationships I guess. I've backed off a little but things seems the same texts me all day and calls me at night. I'm a little bit confused with that she wants and would love to hear why you guys think. I do like her and I know she likes me to so do I wait for her and keep doing what I'm doing or cut it off? Thank you!

It is pretty weird that she ask you to meet her family and then tells you that she need some time to figure herself out... Honestly in today's dating world... many people just move around within an over analysed set of rules... I don't see how your relationship with her is different than a normal relationship... the only thing that may change the game is that she is sleeping with other guys too and she doesn't want to be exclusive... do you guys have talked about exclusivity?
