start-fresh Posted August 29, 2011 Share Posted August 29, 2011 Has anyone had a relationship end during the honeymoon phase that you always wonder about? I made the stupid decision to move cross country for a job opportunity and ended a three month relationship that was in the honeymoon phase yet. She said she loved me and I was so focused on the move that I shut down emotionally and ended the relationship. I feel terrible about it but saw no way that it could work out. She was even willing to move but I didn't think that would be a good idea seeing how we were only dating a short time and she had never left the town she grew up in. It still bothers me DAILY after about 6 months of being away from her. She's been dating someone else about two months I think. I just hope this doesn't bother me forever and she becomes the one that got away or something like that... Link to post Share on other sites
