Motor35 Posted February 12, 2007 Share Posted February 12, 2007 I HAVE to vent! UGH!! One of my dearest friends didn't even acknowledge what I did for her Birthday! Said friend's 30th Birthday was on Friday and I missed it. I was at the dentist for an emergency root canal. (Worst tooth pain of my life!) I sent her a text with a Birthday wish and she thanked me. Her big bash was Saturday night and I was still SO sore from the root canal that I just couldn't make it. I called her in my doped-up stupor to apologize and say I couldn't make it. So, today, I am back at work and I took her one of my famous homemade brownie cakes, her favorite Merlot and a gift card to Pier One along with a card and she hasn't even mentioned it. No thanks. No nothing. I don't expect her to get down and kiss my feet and thank me profusely, but am I nuts for thinking she could at the least acknowledge my efforts even though they were late?
