Strength Training where do i begin

First of all i have no idea where to begin. I have always done cardio and now i am really thinking that i need to do some strength training.

 

However, I have no idea where to begin, what I should do for guidelines ect.

 

Anyone know of a good website or can help me know where to begin. I know that there are charts I should use and increase the weights each week ect.
